Our History

The Borghini family first founded the restaurant Hosterietta in 1984 in lungo Lario Trieste . Then, in 1998, it moved to the beautiful plaza “Piazza Volta”, in the heart of downtown Como , in an antique villa where Garibaldi was known to visit. The welcoming and refined atmosphere of Hosterietta permit our guests to enjoy a candlelit dinner from our Mediterranean kitchen. In the hot season our covered courtyard provides the ideal ambiance for passing an evening together with friends, while enjoying our cuisine based on fresh fish, meat, mushrooms and truffles.
